    Protecting the Life of Our Waters

    Scientists have long been predicting the dangerous impacts of a changing climate. Some of these fears range from extreme weather changes to the submersion of populated cities. These fears become significantly more acute as we focus more heavily upon the impacts a changing climate has on our marine ecosystems.

    Cheetah Sitting on a Rock

    The cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) is a large feline living in most of Africa and parts of the Middle East. It is the fastest running animal on Earth with a top speed between 112 and 120 km/h. Unfortunately it is an endangered species. This cheetah was photographed in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve in South Africa by James Temple.

    Junior Jaguar

    The jaguar (Panthera onca) is the third-largest feline after the tiger and the lion, and the largest in the Western Hemisphere.
